Hello! I'm Allison Grodinsky, the founder of Renew Resilience Counselling. I believe that everyone possesses innate resilience; sometimes, it just needs to be renewed and strengthened. I'm here to help you develop new skills and techniques to address various mental health concerns.

I am a registered social worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers. Adhering to a strict code of ethics, I prioritize your confidentiality, trust, and privacy. I stay current with new modalities through ongoing professional development.

Flexibility

You can be honest if an approach isn't suiting your needs. I will adapt and be flexible with you, using various modalities. If mindfulness isn’t your thing, we can try a solution-focused approach or explore cognitive behavioral therapy. Often, a combination works best. I'm here to tailor the methods to fit your needs.

Therapy that works for you

Through my personalized counselling, I’ll work alongside you to develop a plan to achieve your mental wellness goals —often combining the practices of cognitive behavioural therapy, solution-focused therapy, dialectical behavioural therapy, mindfulness and motivational interviewing.
